Task 1
We were tasked to create the invisible set extension for our project. I started off with some thumbnail sketches.
Using the Big Ben as my main subject, I quickly find references of the building in different angles before photobashing.
For my first set extension, I envisioned it to be The Big Ben, covered by a large sand dune. Affected by a world-changing climate, sand starts to form and cover the world, and people then started to rebuild civilization while the previous landmarks were lost to time.
After some photo "mashing", this is what I came up with.
For my second set extension, I imagined it being the Big Ben sunken into an underground cave, hidden from sight after a huge apocalypse.
Started throwing photos in to create the composition and added more lighting effects for visual clarity.
