Anatomy and Character Sculpture
Exercises: Anatomy fundamentals
Instructions
Figure2.1
Task
We were tasked with several exercises to increase our understanding of
anatomy and get familiar with ZBrush.
- Skeletal studies (Human)
- Head Studies (Sketch and Sculpt)
- Muscle Studies (Sketch and Sculpt)
- Hands (Sketch and Sculpt)
- Feet (Sketch and Sculpt)
- Facial Expression (Sketch and Sculpt)
- Posture (Blockout)
Reflection
With my previous knowledge of anatomy, it is easier to catch up with the exercises given while working on Zbrush. Initially, the controls were so weird as I was too used to Photoshop's shortcuts, but slowly but surely I was able to get used to the controls of Zbrush and operate smoothly. If I had the time, I would try to learn what other functions Zbrush could offer for future projects.
