Visual Research

The festive day that I would be using is Halloween. Hearing this already tells you it is supposed to look spooky. So, I looked upon some designs to further my visual library.

Exploration

I've made some sketches for Mr.Vinod to verify, however I made a mistake. The sketches I made were not "squared" as it is more "rectangular".

I then created a new batch of sketches and decided to proceed with the second sketch.

I made two versions of the selected sketches and go for the second one as it has more contrast.

I created some more variants of my selected work. I wanted the first sketch to look like there's a harsh lighting on the logo, which emphasizes on the eye with the Taylor's logo. The second sketch is just some gradient changes to make it look less boring. The third sketch was just adding depth to the fonts to make it "pop" more by outlining the top-layered letter and adding an extra layer of the letters to show dimensionality.

Feedback

    Week 11

General Feedback

Should need to try to fit it in within that space line.
Specific Feedback
#4: this one is actually really interesting but it’s just that  the texture are overwhelming, but they does work strangely, the wordings need to stand out a little bit more than the texture, and also need to be a square.
#1: it is also interesting but less of an idea in this one.
    Week 12

General Feedback

Overall is fine and can work with the colour.

Specific Feedback
Sketch #1 is work, looks a little childenery so it’s fine, can start introducing colour. For the border, don’t use the square.

    Week 13

General Feedback

Create the dimensional and add some shading, and shadow.
Specific Feedback
Add some dimensionality in the sticker. The black lettering that i have might have some tonality so that will stand out the word, might add some shadow some grey on the white background might help it separate, the white background can created 2 dimentionality as well by cut it in into half (some wavy way)

Reflection

Experience
This task might sound easy, but with my time management issues, I barely got to submit it on time. But I felt sense of accomplishment as I managed to finish it, also I have never made and published a sticker on Telegram before, so this was a new and fun experience.
Observation
This task was a hard one to execute due to my lack of knowledge in creating fonts. I also had a hard time sketching out the designs due to days and art blocks and I hated it. :')

Findings
I realized that you need many factors to make a sticker look good and stand out from the rest. "Creating a sticker should be easy", that's what I thought, but after this task, I would like to retract my statement.
